K&S 4524A Wire Bonder

Anyone familiar with the K&S 4524A Wire Bonder? I'm trying to troubleshoot an issue: It fails to save or load programs. The tool will startup with the default parameters in program 1. The parameters can be changed but attempting to save to another program results in an error message, "PROGRAM ERROR". I was hoping for something simple like a dead battery on the motherboard... Any thoughts?
