CHEMTRONICS FLUX OFF HEAVY DUTY- any body else use this to remove baked on RMA flux? | 20 November, 2017

Aerospace/military application- we have recently installed an SMT line. Our prior cleaning of RMA flux was Isopropyl Alcohol only, but with the reflow oven on line, the flux is now baked on. I am looking into FLUX OFF cleaner for removal of the baked on flux. Anybody else out there use this material? I am going about trying to verify that it will not harm any of our product.

IF not FLUX OFF, what do you use to remove baked on RMA flux? and has it given you any problems with any material incompatibilities?

Thanks for any replies in advance.

We have used it,, mixed results, cleans well, but can as you would imagine destroy plastic, i've had operators soak product and that caused problems, it also destroys any marking labels. we also use different Saponifiers to remove residues in the past with good luck, soak, brush and rinse or use in a batch cleaner.
