Most of the Siplace users import their data over the Ethernet. In order to do that as well, you will require a physical LAN connection and than a software capable of talking from Windows to Unix like Samba. http://www.samba.com Once you can access the Stammdaten of the Siplace line computer from a Windows machine, you can actual see how the data format looks like. You can create BEs from your BOM and export it into the line computer. Creating the placement file with the Siplace CAD conversion software is relative easy. Let me look at a sample file format you try to program and I can possibly help you, making your life easier. www.steering-inc.com
