Hello all, As everyone knows,for all kinds of reasons we must change the reflow oven from 8 zone to 12 zone,but how?perhaps the easiest way is to buy a new 12 zone oven...however what will you do then with the old 8 zone oven,scrape? is there anyone

Whether could we add some heating or cooling modules to the 8 zone reflow oven and convert the 8 zone to 12 zone or more?I 've never heard of anybody successfully done this.I think, this way, we could get more cost down.What's your opinions? Thanks®a

I've never heard of anyone doing this. Even if it were possible I can't believe it would be cost effective. If you absolutely need a 12 zone oven your best bet is to try and be a used/refurbed one if you can't afford a new one.

Thanks for the response. I am using mainly two brands of ovens. One is Heller and the other is a chinese brand called Fulongwin (copy of Vitronics). I see the problem in both, more severe in the Fulongwin. Both are 8 zones and a few 9 zone Hellers. I
