Does anyone have any experience with using padded static bags to minimize damage to boards during handling and storage? Does anyone recommend a specific brand or type?

We buy padded bags from ULINE. They work well and are self sealing also, we reuse so we don't seal them. They come in a wide array of sizes as well.

Has anybody else had issues with shipping circuit boards in static shield bubble bags? It appears that parts are getting ripped off during shipping. I suspect that they're getting caught in the bubbles when the boards shift in the bags as the boxes

You want Moisture Barrier Bags (MBB). It is possible you are calling these bags, standard anti-static bags. If you can see anything through the bag, they are not what you want to use for vacuum sealing. In any case make sure you get MBBs.

Surface Mount Components like QFP's in Tray usually comes sealed in an anti-static plastic pack. In case the QFP's were removed from the said anti-static bag for more than 2 weeks, do these components needed to be baked for they might produce solder

I don't know exactly what you are saying about the configuration of the shipping container, but as long as the pcbs are seperated from the inside non-conductive box, it's fine. The pcbs touching the conductive corrugated box won't hurt anything. Th
