Davef, thanks for inputs. I think your correct, we have since obtained some ionic analysis and sure enough there is relatively high chlorides on the bare pcbs. The toluene is controlled within dip tank / drying system, almost no exposure to workers.

Hello to all out there, We're considering CC process, and would like to know some defferences between SSC3 of Electrolube and Humiseal 1B73, yes,I know that SSC3 is silicone one,and Humiseal 1B73 is solvent based acrylic as well as other basic propert

Has anyone found a durable, indelible inspection stamp ink? We have an extreme case of smearing/obliteration because we have the boards dip coated (Humiseal 1B73). The manufacturer of our stamps is zero help, i.e., the best I could get out of them

Alternatives are: * DSCC Columbus continues to maintain the QPL for MIL-I-46058C. [Engineering is unlikely to change.] * Use International Electrotechnical Commission Standard, IEC 61086 - Coatings for loaded printed wire boards (conformal coatings)

Many companies use IPC-CC-830B as a replacement for the deactivated MIL-I-46058 conformal coating standard.

We have PVA 350 benchtop dispensing equipement with humiseal 1A33 CC material. is there any moisture measurement process in conformal coating material?

Humiseal says, "UV cure – These materials are also more difficult to repair as they are the most chemically resistant and mechanically tough of all conformal coatings. Removal is possible locally by using powder abrasion."
