Electronics Forum | Fri Oct 03 07:49:19 EDT 2008 | grantp

Hi, I just saw the new NXT machines at globaltronics in Singapore, and mostly they are faster. However what was interesting is Fuji shows a prototype of the new XPF machine, but it was called XPF-W which handles really large PCB's and uses the sam

SMT placement machines. Where are we going ?

Electronics Forum | Fri May 29 03:27:36 EDT 2009 | grantp

Hi, I have only handled MYDATA and Fuji personally. MYDATA was not realiable, Fuji's are perfect. As for feeders the XP series, we have 5 of them, and they all use the same feeders as the older machines such as CP and IP series. The XP can even use

Fuji NXT

Electronics Forum | Thu Feb 02 18:17:47 EST 2006 | grantp

Hi, I think you can run the wide modules if you need to run large boards. However we went for a bunch of XP machines instead of NXT, because we can use IP and CP feeders, plus we get 100 feeder slots per XP-143, where each module of NXT has less. Bu

Hi, I just found the invoice, and it was Japan Y 18,000,000, which currently translates to about US$156,564 based on the web translator I just tried. This price included front MFU and tray loader at rear and 9 nozzles. This price did not include

Hi Stefan, We had a good operator. He adjusted the heat and pressure to get it right on the used tape. We re-used tape from Samsumg & Toshiba TSOP44, QFP64 ASIC as well as a connector on 56mm tape when they came in tray. We also did on many SOICs of

Fuji AIM platform

Electronics Forum | Fri Jun 24 00:50:10 EDT 2005 | FAC

The AIM was actually designed to use some of the same hardware that the NXT machines use (placement heads, feeders). Main use for this machine is HighMix/LowVolume, NPI, prototyping. It will be at the ATE show in Sept. BTW - It is not going to replac

Automated board labeling system.

Our plant does not use an automated process, but I have done some research to the LPF Label Feeder by hover davis. It is for the Fuji IP, QP2, QP3, XP. Hope that will point you in some direction or get this thread started.

Recomendations? Fuji CP7 or Univ HSP4797?

Electronics Forum | Wed Mar 30 17:35:18 EST 2005 | Grant

Hi, Yes, it was fun reading this thread again. We initially upgraded our MY9 to a MY12 with line scan camera, but it was still too slow. We considered getting a second MYDATA, but decided to go with some FuJi XP 142, and 242 machines, with a second
