uhm.... we're not doing this solderability test that often... it's more likely of a run-to-failure, lolz.. anyway, i think this should be quality department's problem since they do the production monitoring (In- line QC), Material sampling and gatin

Logic gates-I think

Electronics Forum | Fri Apr 21 13:26:15 EDT 2000 | Bob

I'm working on a project that requires that I analyze a signal from the parallel port of my computer and use it to turn on relays. There are about 19 relays to control, and I designed all the gates to get each one on, but there is a problem with keep

You can use a Power Mosfet to drive the light (I am taking for granted it is a DC Voltage the one that turns the light on), the only current a Mosfet demand is only to charge its input capacitance this way you will not damage your board. Configuratio

New Oven Now Getting PCB Twist

I think you are too hot out of the gate as well as too slow on conveyor. I think settings similar to 130, 140, 150, 160, 230, 240, 260 and conveyor speed at about 28 or 29 IPM would be more realistic but it depends on your paste and oven config/zone

Pulse Driven Variable Power

If you want to vary the voltage to control the motor speed, then this is not the correct way. Though you can use LM317 for reducing the votage (using a 5K potentiometer) which will sure reduce the speed but it'll reduce the torque tremendously. For D

Problem Solved - Thank Bill Gates

For the record, the problem was related to a bad floppy disk resulting a corrupted dll file. Microsoft Windows 98 did a poor job of recovering from a bad dll. The dll was removed, QSoft re-installed, and all is running well. Times change Earl and

QP2 vs GSM

We are currently comparing the Fuji QP2 machine to the Universal GSM. The primary use will be for QFP's down to .4 mm pitch and for 300+I/O BGAs. My initial input has been that you spend alot of time tweeking PD's on the QP because the vision syste

Informations about Traceability

Electronics Forum | Wed May 28 06:44:15 EDT 2003 | iman

Mario, Hi, basic point about all quality systems, is the cost justified? Traceability is just one aspect coverage in the quality system. As a pointer, is your diploma project research might focus and narrow down into tracability in high-end product
