Axis head error

Does anyone know what an "Axis Head 1 Theta DAC limit error during Move Absolute Command" may mean? It occurred during production. I have checked through the board's program for errors but cannot see any.

I remember this problem but can't remember exactly what the reason was. It might have been the wrong pullup resistor on the MEI interface board used for the home photo on the y axis. You are right, after a couple hours the machine would work fine.

Hi, Can you move the X2 axis manually? if you move head manually(twice) can you see the pulse incremented in the servo menu in IP? with servo just have some parts can defects: -servo it self -servo board -encoder on head

We swapped the Y1 and Y2 pc800 controllers with no change. We swapped out the UIMC III-I cards from another machine with no change. VRM amps all look OK, no errors. The machine moves the head both in the x and y directions during the zeroing attemp

Thanks for your help. Solved it - The spindles on the head were stiffer than the other heads, so greasing it fixed it.

Are you sure the anvil is coming up? You might try running a program w/o parts or boards (no continuity check) and watching to see if everything is moving when it should be. Do you use continuity checking? If so, what are the results?

Hi, did anybody face such error(attached)? After calibrate all axis I get this error. "E202074 : Z axis of left head : SERVO alarm. Turn off the power to the machine and perform inspection" - see attachement. Machine was fully working day
