I currently use the Slim Kic 2000 and really like its results. Just would like to say that I recommend the product. It works well and the software is user friendly.Profiles can be achieved quickly with great results.

Looking for feedback from anyone who uses the wireless KIC2000 profiler. We just got one and so far it works pretty well. We've been able to lower thermal settings on every profile looked at. The optimizing capability is slick but it sucks up 9V DC

Just setting up a new SMT line and have questions on which profiling product to use. So far the two in consideration are Super M.O.L.E. Gold and Slim KIC 2000... Please share any thoughts, experiences you have had with either and your opinion....

Todd, Slim KIC 2000 would be my choice. We traded our Gold M.O.L.E for it and are very happy with the performance. The optimization program is great. No more guessing. The only thing I could gripe about is that it sucks up 9V batteries pretty quic

Thanks to all. I have it straightened out. We were running too hot and too fast and too long of a reflow time. I am running with Kic2000 and it works great. Thanks for all your input.

Hi, Our SlimKIC 2000 uses a standard 9V PP3 battery, so as long as you're not adverse to parting with around a $1 it's no problem. Cheers, Rob.

I just got in my SlimKIC 2000 unit and ran my first profile a few minutes ago. The RF feature is pretty nice on this model. KIC software is very good and as mentioned above it uses regular 9V batteries.

So just to clarify.... If i bought a KIC 2000 I could run that one unit over both my waves and through both my ovens (leaded and lead-free)? Or would I need additional equipment to use it on the wave?
