Hi, Hans, I would have suggested swapping the MOT card out to see if that fixes the issue (or, changing the MOT card with another one to isolate the card), but, it sounds like you've already done that. I'm surprised that MyData would point you towa

Back when the Linear Y wagons first came out Mydata had problem with the original Y amplifier and were swapping out the complete box for customers who had problems. There was also a problem with the encoder that resulted in the same type of errors yo

I have a MY12 running TPS 2.8.1 and I need to know how to calibrate the X wagon Visin system. The machine is off in the Y direction after I removed and replaced the camera.

I have a loud humming noise coming from my MY12 X-Motor ( Like when a motor is not locked in and it hunts). This noise is not all the time but only sometimes especially with fine placement!! What can it be? I do not want to change the Motor to find o

We had the same motor problem with our My12, whenever we would get the sound we would go through and slow down X accel speed in any packages and the placement accuracy as well. After doing this for quite a while we finally tried updating the motor c

Thanks! I just needed a response like that. I will do all that, and if it's still an issue, I'll change the x wagon encoder right? There are three encoders on the x wagon though? The white one on the x carriage, the white one on the x belt drive mo

Hi, 1. Lubricate X shafts or gears or whatever you have on the machine. 2. Clean X encoder 3. Change motor 4. Change card

Hey All. I figured it out. It turns out that the problem was simply a loose coupler on the x wagon motor transducer. I had only checked one screw in the past but the other screw was apparently loose as well.

Check to see if the mount precision is set to high in the package acceleration field. We set this to normal and the oscillation went away. I wonder if slowing down the x-axis would help.

Thanks , If you reduce the placement precision the X-Axis does not make any noise but than I had placement /pickup problems when it comes to Ic's.Slowing down did not make any difference.
