Has anyone here got any innovated neat fast ways to quickly cut the end of an IC tube open clean and fast so that parts feed properly from a tube on a vibe (as best they can...) AND or any low volume easy to setup automated tube to tape and reel setu

Tool box with a marked home for every tool and adaptor, if its not in use its in its home, anyone caught with it on their desk because "I was using it yesterday" gets a slap. Some would call that LEAN methodology I believe.

We used to use a Dremel with a cutoff wheel. You can clean the cuts up with an X-acto.

I don't know about your Vib feeders, but on mine the intended way to use them is to have a custom piece fitted at the pick end of the tube for the SOIC shape you are feeding. While it is difficult and or expensive to buy all the possible official one

Wister: Those are neat results!!! What results do you get if you use different squeegee speeds with your viscosity DOE? With high viscosity and the print speed you're using the roll may be "skipping over" the apertures. Wadda loose? Dave F
