Hello, I am new to the SMT area and I need to know what a "good" vapor phase reflow profile should look like. The fluids we are using have a BP of 45 C and 219 C. Thanks,

Perhaps a little hard to find but is there anyone who uses a vapor phase process to solder populated card with BGAs. I am interested in the success rate of such a process. It is obvious that the throughput is reduce vs a convection oven but still thi

Have somebody experience with profiling vapor phase? I must buy a profiler and is very hard for me to decide what to buy. Please help me with a advice. Thanks you.

Preheating is critical in Vapor Phase Soldering. One trick that is done is to use the "soft vapor" area just above the soldering vapor, some machines can pause just before going into the soldering vapor. Using that pause above the vapor to continue

Vapor phase soldering systems by Asscon are characterized by special designed heating modules. The thermal mass of the heating modules is designed so that a completely delay-less and direct regulation of the heat/flow/energy transfer to the soldering

hi all, i have purchased an used vapor phase and i can't make a constant profile. the profiles depend on the time i wait between two batch... the only difference that i include is the chamber temperature i don't understand why the chamber temperat

Steve, If you can get me your snail-mail address, I will send you some latest information. We actually have a totally new system called Delta 5. It is Condensation Soldering rather than Vapour phase, the difference being that we solder in an air ti

Hi guys, Our vapour phase oven is taking too long to heat up about 15 mins/cycle. Normally its 5 to 6 mins. 2 reasons why. 1.using 10 amp power board 2.heating element not working properly. before i set up a 15 amp outlet i want to know first if my

you should be able to work out the resistance of the heater element from the power rating (watts), and the Voltage its working at. then measure the resistance of the element and see if your anywhere near.

Ps the above answer was to test if the element is failing, if you think the element is not working due to the current supply being limited you can carry out the same calculations but work out the current required then put an ammeter in series with th
