When you go repairing resources like one time copies of an installed OS for a machine like yours , you have to treat it like your life depended on it. So get a copy of the harddisk before you attempt to repair it no matter which methodology you use.

I just got a used Camalot 2800 inline dispenser. The internal small display seems rather uncomfortable to use - has anyone retrofitted a regular monitor in place of this? Also, any direction on the COPS offline programming software would be helpful.

If I was you, I would use solid copper wire and modify the new switch to have contacts same location and size as the old one. Then solder the same spot a s a full replacement.
