How to prevent Bluetooth Module BGA short anybody?

Electronics Forum | Tue Dec 06 06:14:38 EST 2005 | bwet

Try using some of those new polyimide stencils. They are 8mils thick and can prevent shorting if it is due to solder mask problems or too much paste. http://www.solder.net/technical/tips.asp BWET

Pressure printing systems Conventional stencil printing techniques have fundamental limitations as regards paste handling: The volume of paste available for printing is limited, so frequent replenishment is necessary Paste is difficult to c

How to define solder paste printing height tolerance

Electronics Forum | Mon May 07 16:07:05 EDT 2012 | davef

Start with targets based on the stencil thickness (for height) and stencil thickness times the aperture size (for volume). * Set reasonable upper and lower control limits (+ 25% and –25 % of the targets, for example). * Next, check the printer set-u

Is there any good articles to read on solder paste?

Electronics Forum | Wed Oct 03 17:36:38 EDT 2007 | slthomas

The simple answer is probably a lot longer than it'll take for it to short circuit due to moisture of some sort bridging two conductors. I say moisture of some sort because it doesn't necessarily have to be liquid water. A slug will do nicely.

Electronics Forum | Sun May 24 21:12:59 EDT 2009 | keith78

I have a problem recently to qualify QFN package on solder joint reliability. The pcb thickness stated in IPC-9701 is 2.35mm but from the in-house test, QFN surface mount on 2.35mm thickness PCB board have a short cycle to failure due to higher CTE m
