I Have approximately 150-200 Fuji Cp4-3 8x4mm 1.0 TLC, LARGE Tail feeders. I am looking for an even trade for Fuji Cp4-3 8x4mm 1.0 TLC, SMALL Tail Feeders. If anyone is interested Please respond. Thanks, Mike Naddra

While not quite on the level of rocket science [or entering into the purchase equation], we use xray to incoming inspect tubes of components to check that all the components are oriented head to tail.

| Dear All, | How does one determine the natural frequency of a pc board. | Put it on a variable frequency shake table and shake it until it starts flopping back and forth like a tail on a six month old puppy. TTYL Dave F

That's it!!! Thank you GEB! Actually the "transportation strap" seemed like a main part of the feeder, so I would never come to the idea to remove it. Now it vibrates like a rattlesnake's tail! Thank you very much for the tip. F.

If it's a plated hole though, you can use the ring around it, which should be as accurate as a copper fiducial. just know that any plated hole with a trace coming off of it will have a "tail" and it might throw the computer off when scanning.

How do people generally solder these devices satisfactorily? By hand or machine ? Looks like soldering with an iron could be difficult due to spacing between the pins.

My take ... * Just about every BGA in the world is soldered in a reflow oven * A small portion of the BGA are soldered with rework / repair stations * A very small number of BGA are soldered with hot plates, toaster ovens, selective soldering mach

Hi Dave, I think Lee's talking about PTH BGA Sockets not BGA devices. I worked with him for a long time and he's placed a lot of BGAs. Kind regards, Rob.
