Doh! but any other 14A+ pluggable terminal block would fit in it's place (compliance permitting), you'd just need to unscrew the cables in the mating half, and change that to the new type on the board.

Do you have any images that show the soldered terminations? Also images of the pcb terminations after the part has moved might be helpful.

Cracked MLCC's

Dave, Perhaps, but my interpretation of that photo is that it simply shows a knit line fracture that propagated out to the surface. The fact that it shows on the termination is not surprising since the termination wraps around the internal plate st

Solder Splash/Balls and Flux Splash/Balls

Also, solder splashes can be due to contamination, for example, on the terminals of components. In the past, had a problem with solder splashes on a seemingly standard SMD component. The reason was the incorrect nickel plating process of the componen

Sal: JAX makes good points, but Id like to think about this differently. It sounds like the poorly soldered connection is lifting the whole connector, so that termination floats on top of the solder, rather than submit to the wetting force and be

These parts are flat chip resistor arrays that have 4 end terminations on each side. It looks liek an IC but is typically in an 0805 and 1206 package type with convex terminations. .031" pitch from termination to termination and .011" spacing between

Are there any softwares OR functions inside of the softwares that allow a designer that is creating a very large complicated wiring diagram with say....many terminal blocks and connectors etc... to run a point to point check on his drawing? Bascially
