Las Vegas - Aegis Software announces an industry-first OEM bundling agreement with Fuji America Corporation, a leading supplier of high-quality, automated assembly equipment for surface mount applications. Under this agreement, Fuji America will include Aegis NPI software for BOM, CAD, Gerber, and even scanned board data conversion with each license of Fuji's world-class line level management and optimization software called Fuji Flexa.

Aegis Software today announced the release of a new machine programming interface between ViTrox Corporation’s automated X-Ray-inspection (AXI) machines and Aegis’ FactoryLogix software. This interface will give ViTrox the ability to support native CAD formats, as well as Gerber, driving faster new product introduction (NPI) for their customers.

The global SMT solutions provider Mycronic will, through a renewed partnership agreement, include Aegis Software’s FactoryLogix NPI (New Product Introduction) as the main programming interface for its MY700 Jet Printer and Jet Dispenser. The tailor-made software, branded as FactoryLogix Express, will also have the capability to prepare data for Mycronic’s range of pick-and-place machines, through an optional TPSys output interface.

A customer of Aegis Software since 2008 utilising V7 NPI tools that incorporated iView and iTrac, 2016 saw Cimar Electronics introduce FactoryLogix R3 into their Veenendaal facility. FLx R3 contains a significant number of enhancements and features in addition to the new logistics module to improve the entirety of manufacturing operations - from Material Incoming Quality Control and Sampling, Material Receiving and Labelling, Automated and Manual Warehouse Management, Material Kitting and Dispatch, Production Planning and Scheduling, Mobile Material Management through to Comprehensive Programmers Interface (API).
