Servo Alarm on FUJI IP-2 (MTU unit)

Electronics Forum | Thu Sep 15 16:02:20 EDT 2005 | jdengler

Over Current means the motor is drawling too much current. Check for a jam on that axis, bad wire, bad motor, bad servo amp (yes the amp can go bad and make it appear that the motor is drawling too much current). Jerry

Electronics Forum | Fri May 06 16:19:40 EDT 2005 | jdengler

Does the problem happen at start-up? Does the servo amp have an error? If yes to both, could be a bad cable, or a badly tuned servo amp. If after running and the amp has an error it could still be the cable but also brings in things like a bad motor

CECIL, I am sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with ERSA. However, one bad experience does not mean that ERSA is a bad company. On the smaller BGA Rework systems, sometimes the sales reps do the installations. Was this the case? If so,
