If this is a Kanetic edge belt conveyor that was manufactured by Kanetic in Lake Barrington Illinois then I've seen this before. The folks at Kanetic built a function into the PLC code to make the conveyor reversible without hardware modifications.

Spare parts? Like what? If it's your belt motor, try cleaning out the gear box attached to it. 99% of the time it's the lube in this gear box that dries out and turns to glue.

At times we have had this problem with our AP25 due to one of the conveyor belts slipping. Load a PCB and check to see that both conveyor belts are running at the same speed. If not, tighten the one that is dragging. Hope this helps.

Whats the best way to joint a broken conveyor drive belt? Ive tried a rubber glue which lasts for a short time and tried touching both sides to an iron tip and then holding together, again with poor results.
