HEllo all, I changed a THERMOCOUPLE on my soldering pot. Now when I start the machine, pot shows 80C but it is over 300C. Any thoughts?

Is it the correct type of thermocouple? If it is designed for a K type and you put a J or T the reading will be lower. Also a bad connection can give a lower reading.

One of these ACE KISS machines. Very basic and simple to program. It is a great entry level machine. However, accuracy and repeatability not the same compared to the big expensive machines.
