Our DI system has a carbon cylinder and a mixed bed cylinder. This is from the Mfgr website: "The Technical Devices' Nu/Clean Recirculating Water Deionizing System is engineered to remove all organics, chemicals, and heavy metals via particle

Soft Water Versus Deionized

[clipped] Chemistry of Hard and Soft Water From Anne Marie Helmenstine, Ph.D., Your Guide to Chemistry. Water Works I'm sure you've heard the terms 'hard water' and 'soft water', but do you know what they mean? Is one type of water somehow better th

DE-IONIZED WATER SUPPLIERS

Hello SMTNEtters': Does anyone know of any suppliers who can supply De-I H20 (some high-quality H20!!) in 55 gallon containers. We have no use for "point-of-use" treatment, like mixed bed, anion, or cation tanks, or anything like that...we're a NO

It would help to run a carbon, anion, cation, mixed-bed configuration with pure DI as the final rinse. IF your incomming water is really bad you can run a RO unit to "prepare" the water for ion exchange. Do you run omega meter or ionograph testing

Setting up Water Wash Plant

Hi, I am setting up a Water Wash process. Can the Experts our there help me to understand the whole structure of the complete DI Plant setup to the Washer and back to the water waste treatment i.e. what filtering system needed in between, carbon/mix

| We've been using a newly installed DI re-circulating system. | It's been a big headache. Mostly understanding what causes our resistivity to be unpredictable. I think I've got a handle on that part now. The system consists of a Carbon,HMR(chealet),

Mike: An omega meter has very little to do with ion chromatography. * IPC TM-650, 2.3.25B, Detection and Measurement of Ionizable Surface Contaminants is a process control method that washes boards with an isopropanol / water solution and measures
