This is not an HVAC unit. This is a small unit attached to a production machine to keep the solder paste from drying out prematurely or slumping. The volume of air being cooled and desicated would be less than 3 or 4 cubic meters.

So far I know of two dispensing system cleaner and conditioner to purge the solder paste out to preserve the valve. Valve Purge from EFD Nordson and Purgel from Interflux. Are there any other alternatives for purging and cleaning dispensing systems?

Oh yeah, so we have a auger valve similar to that on one of our other machines that we use for dispensing SMT glue, and solder paste also. We have a conditioner that we flush it with at EOD when in use, then we just let it sit idle with the condition

Is wash temp the same in the new washer? I'm thinking that may be a clue. Are you sure nothing else changed, like water supply at all- conditioner? Do you have a supply of DI water?

Thanks for all the ideas and suggestions. One other side question. Does anyone have any experience of, or have any views on Paste conditioners? Basically the paste is removed from fridge and spun for 7 minutes or so then is ready for production.
