Are there specifications or recommendations for electro-deposited tin-lead plating thickness on austenitic stainless steel that would provide a shelf life of 1 year? 6 months? Would 2 to 3 microns (78 to 118 micro-inches) 90/10 tin-lead over 1.27 mi

I am new to the board so be gentle with me. There are standards such as IPC-610 for PCB assembly, IPC-600 for bare boards, etc. Is there a "standard" for electro-mechanical assembly? Is there an IPC standard or any other industry approved standard

Sorry, I forgot to include the stencil thickness. It is 5 mil. Thanks for the input, everbody. I just checked with our stencil supplier & I thought that Electro-polish was standard with lazer, but I now find out it is not. Our stencil did not get
