Hi, There are a couple of Omniflow 7 and 7E that are being used in the production. Recently we found a lot of flux clogging up the exhaust ducts. Anybody who uses the same type of tool who has seen this kind of problem? How can we fix this? Does

It does specify when to clean. But when we open it up, there's not much flux in the containment. The containment doesnt seem to trap the flux. infact, we hv more flux in the duct than the containment. anyway, we will talk to MFGR to get their rec

Please read your manual, I am sure that it will address proper maintenance of your oven ducting and flux build up. The MFGR will also be able to specifically address your problem and let you know if any upgrades are available. Flux collection filter

Have an older reflow oven which I need to clean up collected flux residues from the chain, mesh, intake/exhaust areas, slides etc heavy brown dust, likely water soluble residues, lots of polymerized brown resin as well.

Do you mean in a reflow oven or wave solder? if so check your exhaust blower, make sure its still drawing. if not the flux/dust that builds up on the exhaust pipes may be falling into the machine.
