Soon we will be manufacturing board assemblies on our SMT lines that will utilize both lead and lead free water soluable solder pastes. I have read some discussion about change-over from lead to lead-free jobs related to machine cleanliness, etc. H

If that's the case, let your customer go. I have run into this situation recently. Q. Why do you not run a dedicated line for lead free? A. You (the customer) give less than 12 weeks forcast and expect us to have a dedicated line for your product?

Hi, You don't need X-ray and all that crap. I would get an old MYDATA TP9 or something like that, and a manual stencil printer and a batch oven or a small inline oven. Should do the trick and be very low cost. Should be simple to use as well. Tha

We have a name brand aqueous batch cleaner that uses a chemical and DI water to clean ROL0 flux from our PCBs. It does ok most of the time for SMT boards and we want to include through hole assemblies as well which should be a better cleaning process

I've been looking for a vision system which can check our fully mounted boards containing a mix of smt and thru hole. The concepts on all the machines are virtually the same, they got about 12-16 cameras, some pcb fixing and the rest is software.
