Hi, we are looking for 1 or 2 new postreflow AOI machines to replace our old ones and possibly 1 prereflow AOI(we never had pre reflow before). In our company we run low volumes and high volumes. I have been looking at Viscom, Mirtec mostly, Cyberop

First of all i want to say thanks for your answer. There is one thing which makes me a little bit curious about your answers. Why did Koh Young and Parmi having around 15.000 spi systems in the field. Why do koh young advertise with the slogan to be

Also note , KY is SPI company and there 3D technology is just SPI tweaked to do 3D AOI, same can be said of Mirtec but bit better than KY. Generally they are slow in capture and this is why in EU and say high volume sites 3D has not penetrated much.

Yes VISCOM uses Cyberoptiocs for SPI as they have a great optic head, but VISCOMS Ultra 2D/2.5D/3D head is best in market, I would say much better than Cyberoptics from a technical specification perspective. Has heighest part 3D height image renderin

I've really liked Koh Young in the past, but it's been a few years. I really disliked a lot of aspects of the Parmi system (lots of false calls and lower quality hardware IMO). The last time I was looking for 3D AOI I liked what I saw of the SQ3000

I am using different equipements for SPI such as Koh Young and Cyber Optics machines. I am looking for implementing a general procedure (SWP) for setting LSL's and USL's on the products on which the customer does not specify any limits on the solder
