I'd guess that you need to sit at your current 216-218*C peak for that 5 to 10 seconds that I mentioned earlier. Increasing your peak is the easiest way to do that, as you say.

Hi Jack, I've seen around 7 degrees diff in max temp. The real factor here is time to reach peak and time at peak.

Yes we have tried with low soak with longer reflow and high peak also low soak.. short TAL and low peak.. but were not able to eliminate the issue
