On our QSP-2, the Y axis belts start to vibrate during the process so we need to open the doors to stop this because of the humming sound. What can creates this knowing that all the movements and placement are spot on?

Swap the amps but first manually check by hand to make sure the z-axis is free to move up and down. Sometimes a part can get stuck in the gears. Good Luck

Got it. Servo tuning is new to us, so we'll try it. When you propose to swap the Y axis amps, do you refer to the driver that controls the Y motors? Thanks,

The amp is mounted on the back side and is black. 4 total mounted for x and y axis.....swap the 2 that are y axis amps. If you have never servo tuned before on a quad machine you not going to be able to do it. There is way to many things that you nee

I would suggest to check your servo amps. on both gantries and both axis.Does it rattle both heads or just one? Since you did not specify this in your question,I will say check all 4 servos in the back side of your machine.Hope this will help and goo

Does this happen with just 1 gantry? If so...I would think your encoder in that gantry/axis needs cleaned. I have seen digital i/o cards cause this issue. But usually you will notice this when opening and closing the doors. The head would sometimes
