With regard to measuring dot diameter on my dispensers, is there an easier way to calculate the Cp and Cpk values? This manual data crunching is for the birds!

I'm looking for the dielectric values of materials for flex, rigid and flex/rigid pcb construction. Has anyone put together tables for this information? Where can I find the information to figure out what dielectric resistances I need based on altitu

I don't think there's really any industry standard tolerance setting or value. It's safe to open up the tolerances pretty wide as long as your placement accuracy doesn't suffer.

Hi All, Sorry if this seems a stupid question but we been having a huge amount or parts rejected on our placement machines. I started looking at the placement program and found the part tolerance date seems to tight. Before I go and open the tolera

Hi floydl, I completely understand when it comes to data crunching after long hours of performing measurements, it's the last and most important arduous task in obtaining performance data. If a measurement and evaluation process that traditionally to

For rigid boards, look here: http://www.standardpc.com/ipc4101.htm Google ...ipc 4101... to fill-up your table.

Hi I don't understand your question. I do understand dielectrics and flex. What is "dielectric resistance". I might know it by a different name. YiEngr, MA/NY DDave

I require component engineering to spec in multi vendor parts as long as the following exists 1.Mechanical +/- 15% 2. Same orientation in pocket 3. Same pocket dimensions I have to beat the engineering a few times per year but I think they have the

I'm not sure to what degree you are manually crunching this data.....If you can set up the data manually, or parse the data from a recording function, to allow it to import into a database with a formula for Cpk, and everything else you could ever in
