Chances are you are using this as a 2.5V voltage reference for the feedback on your regulator. One thing that isn't clear is exactly what failure you are seeing. Please specify the nature of the failure. Is your power bus out of spec? I really ca

After I measured, Pin 1 is gnd, Pin 2 is output = approx 1..795 Vdc and pin 3 is input = 3.3VDC. Someone please help me to find out the part number. Is it Linear voltage regulator or something voltage supervisory for microprocessor/microcontroller.

simon- davef is on the right track. 1st year electronics courses teaches us that you should always check the power supply first. In this case, the power supply in question is not your power source but the regulated power within the unit. I suspect o

I'm looking to solder a individual wire to each of the leads of a voltage regulator. Any advice in keeping them from touching? See item below. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062599&cp

On going from 24v to 18v, try: * Voltage regulator * Resistor divider * Transformer On not generating heat or loosing energy, the laws of physics already are pretty well fixed.

I think you are talking about Infra Red motion detectors. Most of them are 4.5V. You can use a voltage regulator 7805 IC(5VDC Output) after your 12 or 9VDC supply. In case your detector requires a different supply voltage simply choose a 78XX(XX=Volt

I'd guess that that your part is a voltage or current regulator or a power transistor.

Hi..I need help again.. I need negative 18 volt linier voltage regulation, but after I search for a while, all of the components with this spec is obsolete, an the only exixting component is the through hole one.. Can you show me where I could find a

Hi, I have a PCB with a blown PMIC (power management integrated circuit) multi voltage regulator IC. The PCB is rather rare and I need to replace the PMIC, its footprint is 7mm X 7mm with 12 solder points per side. Unfortunately I can only solder th

Hi, sorry but i am new in this. This is a Freescale SRB ZigBee node schematic design. 1)Can anyone help me identify what is the use of the 10K ohm resistor (R115) used? Seems that there is some advantages and disadvantages of using it. The source is
