Hi there, I have quite a number of problematic bd due to warpage problem. I would like to know the method on how to measure PCB warpage, thus to decide on the dispositon of these boards. Another question, can these warp bd be rework/fix. Is there

Hi In addition to what DaveF gave you which you should look at first Search the archives for warp bow twist warpage etc. A Lot of treads exist. Many of the larger OEM's and even the Mil have historically created their own documents for acceptable

I have received prototype PBGA (256 pins) devices from Motorola (actual part number = KXPC850ZT50). These parts seemed very warped on the edges. When I put the part on a plain surface, it rocks quite a bit when I press lightly on a corner. I have

Just a comment: we've seen PBGAs curl up at the corners, but only on prototype components that came off of a low-volume "prototype" line at our component supplier's lab (non-production overmold material was used). Production parts have not exhibite

Bow & twist for bare boards and panels: IPC-A-610 1.5% for PTH only and 0.75% for SMT. So, what are you doing to these poor boards to make them warp?

Hey Dave, you sound like my local board supplier...just kidding. Incomming inspection will protect you in these cases. Go no-go gauge is a simple as it gets.
