Thanks for the reply. R/O/I is ROSE / Omegameter / Ionograph which is used as a baseline for Ion Chromatography.

edmaya33, you're correct about what J-STD-001E says, but recognize that the measure that you refer us to in not IC [Ion Chromatography]. It is modified ROSE [Resistivity of Solvent Extract] ... or whatever they call modified ROSE now-a-days

Hi davef, Will the ion chromatography be able to quantify then identify where and what the contaminant is? Is this a destructive type of testing or the PCB will remain intact right after the test? thanks for the inputs. dreamy
