M.G. Chemicals "Safety Wash Cleaner Degreaser". A primarily ethanol / methyl alcohol product. Part number "405". Brushes, Kim Wipes, or cotton swabs have all been used from time to time to apply it to the PCB.

Yes, all the leadfree solders are currently for consumer products. Military and aerospace industry haven't implemented leadfree yet. They are still study which to go! Maybe that time, we all can follow military std and having high reliability product

Can anyone take a look on the cross sectional diagram of this reflowed BGA ball? Any idea on what has happened to this? The PCB surface finsihing is OSP with regular lead-free 305/405 solder paste. Thanks SC

Thanks for the reponse.... really appreciated. Just checked pricing with Siemens UK.... Get this.... they want £405 each!!! I'm in the wrong business!!! Anyone know of an alternate source for these parts? Best regards Gary
