Based on the fuji error codes, It says that the ARCNET cable is disconnected. Make sure that all cables from this module are connected to the QP.

We checked the three pacsci pc800 servo controllers and they all look OK, no red or error lights. VRM amps all look OK. Still haven't found the issue.

I work on a few of these Universal machines before. Check your severos ( I believe their 6 of them ) in the back of the machines all of them should be on. If you see a red light on one of them it's gone bad and that's your Y axis card. It's easy to

I did clean the gold strip and black encoder box pretty good it took me a few trys but it work ( it did had rust on the machine from the rain I guess... from being out side for awhile)

Wipe down and clean the 2 Gold strips on Y Axis and the encoder ( located on both sides of the machines covers must be removed ) Probably has dirt happen to someone who had an old universal 2007 that was sitting outside in the open air for a few day

Since you haven't received any useful advise I will throw my 2 cents in. I do not know this machine but in general what you describe is an axis that does not get it's home pulse in time. Many machines will have an in-range sensor that gets flagged

We were able to get the machine to zero after 'scrubbing' the encoder head. We used a piece of paper towel and IPA and slipped it between the head and the scale. We moved it back and forth a few times to clean the head then blew out any remaining dus
