Russ: Neat idea!!! Netbuy is close to what you're looking for. Maybe they actually do what you're looking someone to do. We download BOMs and use it to "beat-up" our distributors. Ta. Dave F

From the manufacturer's perspective, we aim to be able to fully inspect all components within the beat rate of the line and generally do. I'm not aware of any competitive machines that do the random sampling that is suggested above, however it is do

Here's a clue, without all the hubub about being part of a "mission".....beat their prices, meet or exceed their quality, and be easy to work with. I think the news would get around.

Hmmmmmm, one part per beat, per operator. Consider using your Radial lead inserter as your canned drummer.

Just got a demo in for a VTECH 250+, it is fast and easy to use. I have tried others but nothing beats this one. Great buy for using for inventory control.

Any opinions on YesTech? I will have a deomo in a week. Comparing to a Agilent SJ-10. Anything should beat Agilent. They rolled over on us after the merger. They are the worst supplier I have ever delt with.

We use Samsung here and we have beat the $#^ out of them for 5 years straight with no machine failures to date. Granted it's not twenty years but we will see. What are the majority of these passives you are placing in relation to size? Not a Samsun

Lasse: Rich beat me to it! His steps are the correct ones. You first need to put your CAD-data into a column file and then use CAD2CAD to import, process and export it as VIOStxt. Greetings Base

Not knowing your company, I would treat LF boards as a new part number. All boards are sold in lots, so controlling both part numbers at the same time would be easy. May add to your inventory but beats mixing.
