Well the profiler IS out for calibration so I can't use it. However, what piqued my curiosity is your statement concerning uneven heating. On the product we were running we had several non-liquidous solderjoints where as the rest of the joints looke

We had a vent block up not too long ago ourselves. Saw multiple solderjoints, especially on fine pitch micros, that looked like they had alligator toes. We solder bump, so it was obvious that area didn't get hot enough to liquify the solder and hav

In the US, the EPA has legal authority to monitor and regulate toxic air pollutants. The US EPA passes enforcement of monitoring and regulation of emissions to the state EPAs. State EPAs pass their enforcement of monitoring and regulation of emission

It does specify when to clean. But when we open it up, there's not much flux in the containment. The containment doesnt seem to trap the flux. infact, we hv more flux in the duct than the containment. anyway, we will talk to MFGR to get their rec

I just purchased a used Heller 1500 reflow oven for an SMT line that I am ting up. Looking for the CFM requirements for my exhaust venting. Does anyone out there have any information on what the minimum requirements are for pumping this exhaust out

100 CFM at each exhaust if you're using room air, 25 CFM/ea if you're using nitrogen (according to my manual...never used nitrogen myself) per their specified delivery rates.
