Good question * Rich lathrop at Heraeus wrote a good paper on quantifying the printability of adhesives. You can probably find it on their site. * J-STD-001 is the baseliine for qualifying processes. Good luck

We do not use this product. [Not to say there is anything wrong with it.] Check Phil Zarrow�s site [www.itm-smt.com] for a good article on paste evaluation that was in �Circuits Assembly� a cuppla years ago.

Yes,immediatly means after three days of the SMT production.Actually we are using o clean heraeus Solder paste with 2%AG. The contamination is 90.5%.We are not using any extra flux.

Not to put Heraeus down - but we experienced the same thing from time to time. We finally found out it was the humidity in building. The higher humidity would cause the bleed out of this adhesive. We switched to Loctite and the problem went away.

You can get them from Heraeus. It's their design and last time I talked to them (about 6 months ago) they keep them in stock.

Steve, We use Heraeus PD 945 and clean with Electrolube SSS. It gives us a good result with both hand and ultrasonic cleaning. Also does a good job on solder paste.
