Hello friends , What is the extent of Probe mark allowed on a assembled board ? Is there any related material on net or standard .Recently we had an issue where the ICT was done and the joints on which the pins were tested had dents on the joints

Thanks for info regarding rotating probe head. We do not recommending to use this probes as it may damage bare board as it will pierce thru board and will shorted etches.. Avoid using this probe for PWBA

I would say yes. I don't believe that ICT will every be replaced by boundary scan. Now on some assemblies, boundary scan is viable and certainly a better choice considering test access constraints. But ICT still will play a vital roll in the futur
