I do it before the kit hits the floor. Most of the time it is not important have the solder in the pic. If you just need to show orientation etc... I will snap a pick on the first board that gets a wire add or something, but it really only takes 5 mi

We have gone paperless using the aegis software, you can also add the digital photos when needed. The comp. expense was large, (as well as the training) but it has been worth it.

You might also want to look @ Blueprint. We do use CircuitCAM for SMT program generation; we've found it's less effective for THT and Post assembly operations. We are also considering on-line documentation; it has shown promise in our final assembly

My contact that had a KP620 , just emailed me that he had sold it a few years back. And now has no manuals. You could also check out if the old Yahoo Zevatech group is still going on Google groups. sarason
