Hi, We tried AIM no clean, and one other paste which I cannot remember the name offhand. We have been using Koki lately, and that's been the best. It seems to leave less residue behind in the stencil. Regards, Grant Petty Blackmagic Design

Please let me know exactly the Koki specification that has managed to solve the balling issue and we can look at the level of residue or the cosmetic may be what you wish to improve.

Try using a solder like S03X7C from Koki, which uses cobalt to prolong the tip life & also a wire wool type dry wipe instead of a wet sponge.

I agree with Jim. Don't do it!!! The tech from SparkFun [on the YouTube video] is giving you his hobbyist trick, which: * For hobby prototyping will work just fine. * For production work, the process is not in control and should not be considered.
