Well assuming that the parts are genuinely damaged when rejected and you want to rework them to reduce scrap,you could use a shadow graph and get the mechanical spec on clear film.Then rework accordingly you should be able to rework most leads.

Yep i agree most likely misplacment or reflow, maybe check your air flow around the liquidous zones(if convection oven) probably too low.

As well as checking board supports you may want to check your nozzles and make sure there not stuck up in the windmill.

we had the fedder protection plates installed for about 6 months but ended up removing them as the plates were more hassel than there worth.The bolt on the estop swith kept slipping off and stopping the machine during produstion.It was very frustrat

Well if the Part Data isint correct then your placement position wont be right especially if there odd for connectors.You should examine the image on the ip3 and determine wether the machine has found the centre of the part.Also u might want to check

we have 3 Rad 8's and never use the verifer cause its too bloody slow.Why bother u cant verify parts being placed on a chip shooter so if your operator takes the same care when loading a reel there should be no need to verify.
