We have had poor solderability from silk screen being on pads, but have never measured the conductivity.

What make and model of machine are you needing pads for? What is the diameter of the current leveling feet?

I had a problem with PCB pads: soldering process couldn't be performed because soldering pads of component in the PCB are oxydized. Is there any solutions to eliminate the corrosion on the pads in order to avoid there scrap because we 're talking abo

If you dont paste / reflow solder on the pads, they will never bridge. ;-) A design with a 0.13mm gap between pads will challenge equipment, materials, and process.

| Are square pads more difficult to wavesolder than round pads? | I am referring to a through hole board. | Usualy square pads are for indication of pin 1 on a DIP for example. There might be a difference in the capilary affect due to a different su

I am going to agree with Rob a little. It is also possible that a internal ground plane might be under or connected to the pads of this cap thus causing a increase in temp to this part during reflow. This can cause parts on occasion to jump from the

I need to know the recommended pad layout for a 44r package. The part is an atmel flash AT49F004. Is there a standard that I can look at?
