Thanks for adding that, Daniel! It always helps the rest of us when the solution to a problem is published. Plus, my brain won't rest until I know.

We've recently gone through a spell with a Radial 5 where various pieces of the head tooling would break. We even found a piece broken inside of the wax seal straight from Universal. To keep it running, our techs put on tooling from a Radial 2 and

Steve, all the worn carrier clips (chipped, spring less or damages, etc.)have been changed for working ones. Alignment has been performed to loser and afterward thighter tolerances than the manual recommend to see if it changes anything (no). I check

We had the same problems a few years back. We complained and they came back with the excuse that the supplier of the parts had made a bad batch. They sent us a new part in exchange of the broken one. When faced with premature breakage of parts that a

Would you happen to have the Jig used to check that the component itself is in spec with UIC's general specifications? 1.) Component in spec. 2.) Correct 2.5mm pusher on the feeder / dispense head. Also set the conditioner guide where the comp enter

We have a RAD5 and RAD 8, both of which have the Expanded Range Verifier. Has anyone had success verifying the correct value of electrolytic caps? Our machine stops several times a day for a false failure, and Universal isn't much help. Thanks John
