For what you have right now I would recommend that you use soldering iron tips that are made for component removal. until you get BGAs I wouldn't worry a whole lot about the expensive rework equipment. I would use specialty tips and a heat gun wit

You may want to look at which spindle that is dropping the nozzle and check the O-ring on the spindle head. It's probably bad, cracked, or broken. Replace it and that will fix it

I think it depends on the thickness of the PORON sheet. For .3mm balls you could probably get away with a pretty thin sheet (maybe 1/16"). I don't know how thin it comes offhand. For the part you are describing I woulf try maybe a 3.5mm OD and a 1

From what I can gather, the annular rings are used for grounding when these boards are put in housings. A screw goes through the hole and is torqued down. If there is excess solder on the annular ring, the screw doesn't seat properly. The pallets cov

It has very simple construction - there are two rubber o-rings which serve as a coupling. On ours, one was broken and after replacing it with a new one everything was as new. Just open the head and it will all be clear - it's very easy to fix. - Den
