Could anyone recommend an esd safe masking tape for conformal coating that does not use a silicone based adhesive? I have looked into 3M's 7419 series and am awaiting samples, curious if there is another brand out there people have used. Thank you

We have temporarily switched to an RTV for the vibration reincforcement, but it is not compatible with acrylic conformal coating and we really do not want to switch conformal coatings to a silicone based. Additionally we are testing the product in h

A lot of our dewetting is happening on plastic body components, such as ICs. When they are manufactured, the molding process requires a mold release to make the part release after molding. Usually, the release agent is silicon based, but you can't

Back in the days when I was in charge of a Paintline Dip conformal coater, I had the same issue with a non-hermetically sealed Potentiometer. We tried to use rubber boots, but the capillary/wicking action of our silicone-based heat cured coating was

John, In addtion to the cleaning process you may wnat to look at the masking materials you are using as well. Are you using any temporary masking tape? If so, do the dewetted areas coincide? Some of these tapes use a silicone-based adhesive which wi
