Russ, We can not use a wave pallet, already went that route. We have parts next to the thru-hole pins and between thru-hole pins. I am going to try an experiment in the next day or so with solder mask. I plan to solder SMT parts on the back of se

Valerie, Thank you for your reply. I have a quick question......when you converted to a double reflow process did you have any thru-hole parts on the assembly. If so how did you handle them....pin and paste? Thanks, mike

Mike, To answer your question, Yes we have thru-hole parts on the boards that we converted to double-sided reflow, we use pallets to select solder the leads. I suppose Masking would work, but that's using a lot of mask. Can I ask, whats preventing

I appreciate your comments regarding the programmability of the Mirtec. What type of SMT machine do you use? How easy have you found it to transfer the SMT profiles to the Mirtec? How do you rate the Mirtec in handling top/bottom, multi-panel asse

OK, this is easy. You say HIGH fall out, so I can assume 25 or 50%? If so, run 10 without the heat gun and 10 with. This should show you if the heat gun process is the cause or not. If the relay is a surface mount, hand solder them on. If it's a

Well, most of the capacitor are thru hole, then pcb's goes to adhesive process upsidedown to continue SMT process in which , maximun tempetarure is 120, so temperature is not problem. About SMT capacitorS, I will check temperature specs before mount

Our SMT production and storage area is air-conditioned, constant temperature is maintained but the humidity is not controlled , the raw SMT material is stored in a "Drier" cabinet, but since we assemble hybrid SMT and thru-hole PCB assemblies, the SM
