It sounds like someone needs to check the servo tuning. Bob

Hello SMTA, This may be beyond the scope of the SMTA since it does not strictly deal with assembly of electronics, rather, it is about potential solderless methods for manually tuning RF circuits. Our Engineers & QC have tasked manufacturing with

My APS GF12 seems to have lost it's settings randomly last night, and it won't let me run any profiles unless it's autotuned. I've figured out the security password and can get into the tuning menu, but not sure what to do from here. Anyone know wh

When ever I did an autotune the machine would start at 100F on all three zones, then after a long time it would bump up to 200F and finally 300F. It takes forever but eventually it would complete the tune process and be ready to enter work mode.

Thanks, Tom. I'll post with my results. It's been running for 2-1/2 hours now at the 100F setpoint. I may need to re-start the tuning tomorrow morning, since I don't want to leave it running at the higher temperatures overnight.

Seems to be fighting to hold its position. 1. Check for anything worn out...possibly idler bearing/pulley and/or the belt. 2. Maybe it could use servo tuning...this may help but usually servo tuning is not that critical. 3. Clean the scale and the

Of the few contract jobs that we ever took one of them was with smt pogo pins. Alignment was poor and most were crooked. Probably could have been resolved with less paste and tuning the process but customer was frustrated that their design ended up w

Dave, I think I worded my post poorly. I am not sure if "tuning fork type" is the correct terminology. The instrument I am looking for usually has a hand held unit connected to a device that resembles a small tuning fork. As a matter of fact, I thi

Hi everyone, I just got a GF-12 oven that looks in good shape but it won't go into WORK mode because it needs to run a TUNE. I've read that this happens when the internal backup battery fails or after a specific time. A while back a member posted t

Hello C.B. I am a former trainer/fse for that machine and still have a q1000 bible for fixing problems. I think the machine may need servo tuned to which there is a procedure that i would have to find. First thing to do though, is to drop the machine
