Is a fresh lot. This bga is old date code 2010. we had received this BGA 2021 and the baking process is done during receiving time. Production received with vacuum seal , its very hard to tell how the BGA handling and stuff and the BGA already EOL. I

Handling of Moisture sensitive devices

Electronics Forum | Fri Jan 21 18:47:14 EST 2000 | Ashok Dhawan

This massage is for clarifications on storage and handling of Moisture sensitive parts: Does chip resistors, capacitors and inductors need vacuum packing during usage life? For repacking of FPDs to limit reuse, is it necessary to use vacuum seler or s

PLCC LED placement issues

We have started using an RGB LED and today ran the first boards down our line. I noticed an immediate issue with placing these. I'm using a quad QSP-2. The part sticks to the nozzle. The nozzles are clean. I have adjusted machine handling so that vac

HELLO MIKE, THE PROBLEM WITH THE VIA BEING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PAD CAN BE HANDLED. IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH SOLDER FLOWING THROUGH AT REFLOW YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK YOUR VACUUM AT YOU SCREEN PRINTER. SOMETIMES THE VACUUM THAT HOLDS THE PCB

...ahh....memory lane. 10 years ago I worked on a project for a customer who needed a low cost, high volume board for RFID tags for cows (yes, moo). These boards were 0.50 inch in diameter, 50 per panel, double sided SMT punch style fabs. 300,000 b

Unusual solderability issue

Electronics Forum | Fri May 07 00:52:24 EDT 2010 | boardhouse

Hi Derek, just curious of one thing - are the vias within the BGA's the only vias covered or are all vias on the board covered. Just trying to figure out what is making this area different from the rest of the board. Regarding leaching, I do not be

Moisture Sensitivity and Package Cracking

Electronics Forum | Mon Jan 25 18:15:39 EST 1999 | Joe

Greetings, We are discussing what should and what should not be baked and vacuum packed. Should we just concentrate on the fine pitch packages and the bga's? What about those components which come on blister tape, should they get baked and re-packed
