We have Z height adjustment on a turret chipshooter to compensate for various thickness. At the moment all the 1206 Cap are treated the same.It's something we are going to change over the next few weeks. Thanks for your help!.

Do you mean that pick up z height is taught too deep thats why it can possibly flip the next chip. I will check our machine if have the same setting as yours. Thank you for this thought.

Back in the day when everyone had turret chipshooters we used to see a lot of cracking due to incorrect z heights, especially where customers swapped between manufacturers.
